Almost Infamous (DVD)
"Almost Infamous" is (we are told) a hilarious, compelling and
often-poignant behind-the-queens documentary following America's
Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet as they prepare for a
prestigious run in Vegas. The film incorporates concert footage,
"confession cam" interviews, archival footage (including the group's
1994 street-corner debut) and animation by Oscar-nominated Bill
Plympton. Directed by Ken BieIenberg and produced by Alonzo Ruvalcaba,
the documentary lets you see the guise behind the gals as you've never
seen them before. You'll be scarred for life!

I Wanna Be A Republican
(DVD)
Tired of playing Kinsey Sicks cds for friends and having them say,
"Wow, do
they look as bad as they sound?" Finally, The Kinsey Sicks' new dvd, "I
Wanna
Be a Republican" answers that question with a resounding yes!
The Kinsey Sicks may be trash, but the dvd, released by
Eyethink Pictures, is
a glorious five-camera shoot that vividly captures the sights, smells
and fear
of a live Kinsey Sicks performance. And if that's not too much, there's
more!
There's a hilarious blooper reel, two commentary tracks, a multi-camera
angle
feature, and four songs not bad enough to be included in the film, but
sufficiently disturbing to include in the dvd.
What the critics are saying
With their tight harmonies, fab ensembles and wicked wit, The
Kinsey Sicks more than make up for the fact that some republicans still
exist
Michael Musto, The Village Voice
A night of sizzling satire and sexy trash talk...A laugh out
loud funny showcase to rival the Margaret Cho enterprise...a comedy
concert that equals the best of HBO
Bay Area Reporter
The campy Kinsey Sicks hit the screen in "I Wanna Be a
Republican". Their doo-wop vocal polish impresses, as does the
technical slickness of this feature from Eyethink Pictures
Variety
The Kinsey Sicks -- with perfect four-part harmony vocals,
well-chosen parody melodies and laugh-out loud lyrics -- approach
genius

Each Hit
& I (CD)
It's an album title that has to be said out loud. Really. The Kinsey
Sicks celebrate their Sweet Sicks-teen by unleashing their most
thrillingly objectionable CD yet. "Each Hit & I" is bursting at the
seams with 20 gorgeous and unforgivable tracks, including the soon to
be classics, "Necrophilia," "See You When Tea is Drinkable" (say that
one out loud too), "I Kissed a Gull," "Things You Shouldn't Say" and
"Tranny Boy." In addition to uproarious original tunes, the Kinsey
Sicks turn their sharp eye to the pop world, skewering Britney Spears,
Michael Jackson, Katy Perry and Beyonce in the process. From Abba to
Opera, this album will keep you buzzing like a cheap drug. The enclosed
28-page booklet contains personal commentary by the Kinseys, vintage
photos and secret messages visible only through secret decoder glasses.
